Three floors, three bedrooms and a sitting room that catches the last of the light. We kept the original shutters and replaced everything else. Walk to dinner; drive nowhere.
Harbourlight is a tall Victorian villa that had been divided into flats for forty years. We put it back together, kept the original shutters and the tiled hall, and replaced everything that plumbed, wired or leaked.
The house
Three bedrooms on the upper floors, the best of them opening onto the balcony over the bay. The sitting room faces west, which matters more here than it sounds. The kitchen is compact and properly equipped.
Good to know
Underfloor heating throughout. One parking space, with on-street nearby. The village is two minutes on foot and has everything you need for a week.
